Midwest Dahlia Conference Annual Spring Meeting

The Annual Spring Meeting will be held on Saturday, the 6th of June 2009 beginning at 10:00 AM.  The Executive Board will meet at 9:00 AM.  The venue has changed!  We will be meeting at Highdive Pavilion, which is one of the Elkhart Park Facilities buildings.  Take Exit 92 from the 80-90 US Tollway and head south on Cassopolis (also called SR 19).  Go 3-4 miles until you get to the dead end of Cassopolis.  Turn left and, on the north side of the block, find the Pavilion.  The address is 500 E. Beardsley in Elkhart.

10:30 AM Lecture by Dr. Norm Lownds, Associate Professor and Curator of 4-H Children's Garden at Michigan State University.  His presentation is entitled: The Garden---The Kid Connection---Creating the Magic.  Dr. Lownds is an internationally known expert on children and gardening.
11:30 AM Lunch

To follow (about 12:15 PM): Auction of Dahlia Plants.  Please notify all of your friends to come and participate in the auction.  If they come just for the auction, there will be no charge.  The program and the lunch costs will be outlined and distributed at a later date.
